The Government of Canada presents  Venmar Ventilation ULC with the ENERGY STAR® Manufacturer of the Year – HVAC Award

Drummondville, QC, May 15, 2019 –Canadian leader in indoor air quality Venmar Ventilation ULC wins ENERGY STAR® Canada 2019 Manufacturer of the Year – HVAC Award. This prestigious award was presented by Canada’s Minister of Natural Resources, the honourable Amarjeet Sohi, at the ENERGY STAR Canada Gala, held in Ottawa, on May 14, 2019.


ENERGY STAR Canada Awards recognize manufacturers that have demonstrated excellence in promoting the most energy-efficient products available in the Canadian market. “Energy efficiency in our homes and buildings helps Canadians save money, creates jobs and reduces pollution while contributing to our clean energy future,” said the Honourable Amarjeet Sohi, Canada’s Minister of Natural Resources. “I congratulate Venmar Ventilation ULC for their ongoing leadership in improving energy efficiency in Canada.”

 

This is true recognition for the Canadian flagship manufacturer of heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) products that is constantly pushing the boundaries of ventilation with sustained investments in research and development. “This prestigious award confirms our leadership position in innovation and the development of high-performance energy-efficient products,” stated Canadian Executive Managing Director, David Barrow.

Venmar Ventilation ULC leads the market penetration of ENERGY STAR certified residential heat/energy recovery ventilators by offering 60 models accounting for almost 40% of total market share. The list includes some of the 10 best-rated ENERGY STAR certified models available.

The company proudly acts as a brand advocate promoting ENERGY STAR products on its website, with pages receiving over 30,000 page-views per month, as well as through other promotional channels.

 

The company’s commitment to the environment is also echoed in training sessions aimed at providing a better understanding of ENERGY STAR certification benefits. This training is provided to more than 400 HVAC professional contractors throughout Canada.
