Which is better, ducted or ductless?

Ideally, Venmar and Venmar Connaisseur range hoods should be installed with a duct that exhausts air to the outside. However, if this is not possible, a charcoal filter module may be used.

NOTE: Charcoal filter modules cannot be installed on Venmar Jazz range hoods and those with dual blower hoods.

Such a module eliminates cooking odors, and is easy to install over our hoods. Containing 4 times more charcoal than traditional types of such filters, it is extremely efficient and never comes into contact with cooking grease.
